Private Lessons
1:1 or small group gardening lessons are available for $45 an hour. We can tailor the lesson’s to your child’s unique interests and age. Examples of private lessons include:
- Intro to herbalism – seed harvesting, herb processing, tea making, basic remedies (salves and infusions.
- Intro to gardening – fast growing plants for beginning students. Basic plant care and garden maintenance.
- Healthy soil and compost – learn about the ecosystems that live in our soil and the important role they play in soil health. Make a worm farm and learn how to make your own compost.
- Introduction to quail keeping – a one-on-one, hands-on experience where your child will learn what it takes to keep quail and get experience cleaning the coop, feeding the quail, and giving them a dust bath.
